Terms of Service
- By using the AICE website and enrolling in our programs, you’re agreeing to the terms we’ve laid out below. We’ve kept these simple because we value a straightforward relationship with the engineering community.
- What we provide: Our platform is designed for your professional development. We offer self-study engineering and construction courses aimed at helping you stay compliant with local laws and industry standards. While we strive to ensure all our course content is accurate and up-to-date, we expect you to apply your professional judgment when using our materials in your own practice.
- Your account and access: When you sign up, your account is for your personal use only. Please don’t share your login details with others. We want to ensure that every student gets the individual progress tracking and certification they’ve earned. If we notice unusual activity—like multiple people using the same account—we might have to pause access to keep the platform secure for everyone.
- Intellectual property: All the technical documentation, inspection protocols, and course materials you find on our site are the property of AICE. These are for your individual learning. You agree not to copy, redistribute, or use our course content for commercial purposes without talking to us first. We put a lot of work into these resources and appreciate your respect for our intellectual property.
- Course completion and certificates: You are responsible for completing the modules and assessments required for your specific course. Once you’ve successfully completed a program, we’ll provide your certificate of completion. Please make sure your profile information is accurate, as this is exactly what will appear on your official certificate.
- Limitation of liability: We do our best to provide a seamless learning experience, but we can't guarantee that the site will be available 24/7 or entirely error-free. By using this platform, you agree that AICE isn’t liable for any direct or indirect losses that might occur from the use (or inability to use) our course materials. Our goal is to support your career, but your professional decisions remain your own responsibility.
- Changes to these terms: We might update these terms occasionally as our institute grows and our offerings change. We’ll make sure to post the latest version right here. By continuing to use the site, you’re agreeing to the updated terms.
- Getting in touch: If you have any questions about how these terms apply to you, just send us an email at info@aice-institute.org. We’re here to make sure you have the clarity you need to focus on your studies.
